Quexion EnterpriseMailer is a service that seems to still be in it’s infancy. The interface is simple, but seems it’s lacking something. They include many of the services you would normally find in a standard email marketing service like importing your mailing lists and creating campaigns using your own code or one of their templates. But in the end we had many difficulties while using this service.
Every time we uploaded a list we received an error message in red along the top of our page. It seemed to only upload a portion of our contact lists. It would import the email address but not the names and vice versa. We tried both comma and tab delimited uploads. Both loaded incorrectly.
While creating our email we frequently received full error message pages if we didn’t follow the exact steps outlined by Quexion. When we finally got to a place to modify a template you are not presented with the traditional template selection. You simply go into the section of your newsletter to modify and add text and images from there. We found the entire process cumbersome.
Unfortunately, once we got everything ready to mail we were unable to find a send button. After searching high and low in the help files and following all the wizards to a T, we couldn’t find anything that actually sends your campaign. Additionally, their help and support only consists of a FAQs and email and phone contacts.
When we contacted support about our sending difficulties, although they responded quickly, they did not directly answer our question and suggested instead we set up a phone conference to take us step-by-step through the process. Sadly, we found this solution to be unacceptable. Every other service we reviewed was able to send our campaign with little to no help.
